About us!

I have always been a candle and bath addict. There is something about the sparkling glow, warm scent of a candle and  a sudsy bath that can make even the poorest soul feel rich! I call them a poor mans luxury, as they seem to lift the mood after a long hard day. After several years of testing and research  I have found a joy in creating and offering wonderful products that enhance not only my home and personal being but yours. We have made it our mission to be very picky and selective, and only use fresh natural skin moisturizing oils and butters . Our soaps are made the old fashion way by saphonating  hand picked oils that pamper your skin to make a luxurious bar of soap. Most store bought soaps have skin drying detergents in them that leave the skin in need of moisture. With hand processed soap we don't add anything but natural oils and butters such as shea, sweet almond, jojoba and more. We urge you to try one of our bars and see why we love them! All of our candles are made with soy wax, as the quality of the burn and scent is what we want for our own personal candles let alone our customers. The scent throw is fantastic and when burned properly leave no wax tunnels and burn clean and scent strong down to the bottom of the jar. I reside in North Carolina along with my wonderful husband and 3 beautiful Children and process all items in my workshop. Nothing is massed produced by machine, so I know what goes into each and every candle and body product. Thank you for visiting us online, people like you are what make this not only a business but an enriching endeavor. God Bless!

Why Soy?

Soybean Candles have many wonderful and unique qualities. Besides being made of all natural wax and helping the American farmer, they are virtually soot and smoke free! They fill the room with wonderful and long lasting aroma. Each one of our candles and products are Hand poured and tested for the best scent throw and cleanest burn. We only use top quality natural wax and oils to make sure you receive the most enjoyable candle possible!

Due to the natural state of soy..there may appear a antique frosting appearance. This is only a by product of the natural soy and in no way hinders the scent throw and burn. Its uniquness only enhances your candle.

Soy Tips

Soy Wax Benefits

Soy wax is all-natural

Soy wax is a favorite of environmentally conscious people.
Burning of soy candles does not increase the CO2 level in the atmosphere.

Soy candles last longer

Soy candles last 50% longer.

Soy candles spills are easy to clean

Soy wax spills can easily be clean up with hot soapy water.

Soy candles produce less soot

Soot is very unhealthy and should be avoided.
Soy candles produce about 90% less soot,
thus help to maintain air quality.

Scented soy candles distribute more flavor

The incorporation of soybean oil lowers the
melting point of the candle,
which translates into cooler burning candles
and faster scent dispersion.

Soy Wax Characteristics

Your soy wax candle may have a smooth or frosty appearance
before burning. All candles are hand poured;
therefore each batch may differ in appearance.
Your soy wax candle may also have a "crusty" or a "cauliflower"
appearance on the top of the candle after burning.
This is normal to natural soy wax and in no way affects
the burn of the candle. You may also see some wet looking spots
on the outside of the jars, this is also normal.
This is caused by temperature variations
and is simply due to the expansion and contraction of the wax.
Soy wax is also very sensitive to temperature and light,
so be aware of the location when placing or storing your soy candle.

Candle Safety

Please read the safety label on the bottom
of your candle container.

Candle Burning Tips

Do not trim wicks before burning for the first time;

I have already trimmed wicks to where they are supposed to be.

Candles burn best when the wax is allowed to

pool completely across the jars,

before blowing them out.  This allows the melt pool to be

complete and then allows for an even burn

down the candle jar and prevents tunneling.

The basic rule is to burn 1 hour per diameter of the jar.

Trim mushrooms that develop or if your wick curls just trim

the very top of the curl, no shorter. If you trim the wick

too short it will affect the burn of the candle

and may not burn the correct way.

Keeping your wicks trimmed will produce less soot

on your candle jar. The wicks may not need

to be trimmed every time, but you should check.
